Privacy Policy

Applies to the LED Animator website, web designer, and the iOS and macOS apps.

LED Animator has no accounts and no backend to send your data to. Your work stays on your own devices. We don't collect, sell, or share personal information.

The web designer

• Projects autosave to your browser's local storage so they survive a reload — they never leave your device unless you export a file yourself.
• Exports (.uf2 / .zip / .leda) are generated locally in your browser.
• No cookies for tracking, no analytics, no advertising.
• The site is served as static files by GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record standard request logs (such as your IP address) — see GitHub's Privacy Statement.

The iOS and macOS apps

• No account, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking.
• The apps talk directly to your own LED devices over Bluetooth or your local Wi-Fi network. That communication stays between your phone/Mac and your device — it isn't routed through us and we never see it.
• Bluetooth and Local Network access are used only to find and control your LED devices. The apps request these permissions for that purpose alone.
• Any patterns or settings you upload go straight to your device, not to any server.
